Guest Ratings & Reviews
Staying at this hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms are modern pine cabins with balconies and comfy beds, but unfortunately, the view is not great. The service was kind and attentive, although at times the sliding doors could get a bit noisy. The location is excellent, right on the lake, offering easy access to the town center, but the rooms are small and old. Dining options, including a continental breakfast with sliced tropical fruits, were a highlight, yet the facilities could use some updating.
The hotel is located right on the lake, offering a beautiful view, and it's within walking distance to the town center and various tourist services. The service was kind, polite, friendly, and helpful. However, the location had some areas with weeds, and I experienced some traffic during busy holiday times.
The hotel is excellently located just a block away from Big Bear Village, offering stunning lake views and convenient access to Snow Summit. My room was brand new with full cotton bed linen and fantastic lake views, but the curtains didn't provide enough sunlight protection, and the sliding door was quite noisy. The service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. They gave great recommendations for nearby restaurants like Nottingham's, where I enjoyed delicious cuisine. The location is superb for exploring the nightlife and enjoying free coffee and apple cider. On the downside, the rooms were a bit old and very small, missing some modern amenities. The dining experience offered a nice continental breakfast but lacked variety. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel's facilities were adequate, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
